I am a huge supporter of the Google Chrome Browser, Firefox is all right, not my favourite though. But most of all, as a shared opinion between web devs, we all hate internet explorer. So this brought me great joy when I heard about a company located in Australia Kogan, which appears to sell household entertainment products, who also hates IE and is actually taking a stand. Not any kind of stand however, most sites just ask you to use an updated browser. These guys actually make the pages for the out dated version of IE (Which any web dev can tell you, is a kick in the pants) and add a ‘Tax’ for online purchases. Tax is called: ‘Internet Explorer 7 Tax’.
Not going to lie, this makes me happy to see that someone (corporate wise) is attempting at getting people to use ‘proper’ browsers!
